I wore this to a wedding. I liked the sparkle of the sequins and soft chiffon skirt. Just dressy enough. It felt very comfortable on. And it covered my arms, knees and apple tummy. I had found this dress in a department store, but they were out of my size. I got it in two days from Amazon, and was able to order a petite size. Very pleased.I didn't know what to put for "sheerness" when asked- the dress is not sheer, which is great, but I didn't know how to interpret that on Amazon's rating scale.Anyway, this would be a great mother of the bride/groom dress. It is a great style for older women. I wanted something a little less matronly so returned it but wouldn't hesitate to order it when I get older.Very pretty, sparkly top, chiffon bottom.So comfy, no alterations needed!This dress was purchased for a wedding. I think we’re all set!Fit beautifully!I felt good in this dress which I wore for my granddaughter's wedding in June. It was not too warm even though it has 3/4 length lace sleeves. I got many compliments on the dress. It has enough sparkle on the lacy top to make it special. I did wear a choker necklace with the dress because I was afraid jewelry would snag the lace top of the dress. It was not too tight and I could slip it over my head even with a zipper in the back. Zipper was good for not messing up the special hairdo though. I would recommend for a special day.Trying to find something for my shape and height in a light color (not my choice) for sons engagement party is not an easy task.Amazon has been very helpful and patient...lol. I really had reservations about fitting into this bodice and how it would look. Normally I am a 14w so in this I ordered a 16, there was a mistake in the tagging and I received an 18. Well I'm glad the error happened as this is the one.Very lovely fabric, no itching from the lace and beautifully made. If you have my apple shaped body, order a couple sizes upI liked the over all look of the dress, but the bodice tended to ride up. The zipper in the back tended to bulge out in a few places & I had to pull it down to keep it smooth. You're not able to iron or steam the dress .This dress is quite beautiful, well made and fit perfectly. Unfortunately I had to return it because it didn’t suit my body shape (apple, short-waisted, 5’1”).It was beautiful for my daughters wedding.Everyone thought I looked fantastic in it.Beautiful! Very pleased!
