When I took it out of the package at first I wasn't sure - too ice-skater like, but once I put it on and with the deep purple shoes and matching clutch, I felt like a princess even without any jewelry. I am 5 feet tall, 125 lbs (most of the weight is in the hips), so I ordered a size 6 and it fits very well, hitting 2-3 inches above the knee. I love that it has a double lining, it really doesn't feel flimsy at all. I love the deep U back and I'm overall very satisfied with this dress. I feel like its understated, yet very glam. The front is modest and low back is perfectly modestly revealing.Having now worn it to the event, I need to add to my previous review. I could have probably gotten away with size 4, but it would have been riding up, so if you are hippy, order up. It was a bit lose on top and I was afraid that my bra straps will show, but, for the most part they didn't and I've got lots of compliments, most importantly, from my husband, who immideately expressed his "like". ;-).
